What is the SKY Walk?
The SKY Walk is a mile long walk organised by the Orthopaedics Team at Warwick Hospital. The team are encouraging anyone who has had a joint replacement, or any broken bones mended by the team to join them with their families and friends and walk "a mile with a smile" together to celebrate the excellent work conducted by the Orthopaedics Department, and to help raise money so the team can further invest in research and equipment to make sure every orthopaedic patient continues to receive first class care.
When will it take place?
The first ever SKY Walk will take place on Sunday 14 June at Warwick Racecourse. The event take place from 10am-2:30pm.
Is it just a walk?
No! There will be loads to do as well as the mile walk. There will be a raffle, tombola and other charity stalls as well as drinks and refreshments. It's guaranteed to be a great day out for the whole family!
How do I take part?
Signing up to the SKY Walk is totally free, and the more the merrier so bring your friends and family. You can e-mail SKYwalk@swft.nhs.uk or call 07917383088 to register your place.
